About
The Mahabharata and Ramayana are stories many of us grew up hearing from grandparents, but they're long, complex and not always easy to follow. Lipi Epics makes them accessible again. It's a learning app for Android and iOS that retells the epics in simple, engaging chapters, introduces the characters one by one, and draws out the lessons that still matter today.
At Tvisha, we built Lipi Epics so that a child and a parent could learn the same story together. AI helps tailor each story to the learner's level, short quizzes after every lesson help ideas stick, and fun activities like matching characters and connecting events make coming back feel like play rather than study. It's a small, everyday way to keep India's greatest stories alive for the next generation.

Challenges
- Making complex epics accessible to every age group
The Mahabharata and Ramayana span hundreds of characters, parallel storylines and layered moral themes. The client needed these stories told in a way that a young child could follow and an adult could still find meaningful, without losing the essence of the original texts. - Holding learners' attention
Traditional reading-based learning often loses young users quickly. The app needed to keep learners coming back and make revisiting lessons feel rewarding rather than like homework. - Measuring whether learning actually happened
